"The Harmonial Philosophy, A Compendium and Digest of the Works of Andrew Jackson Davis” [National Spiritualist Association of Churches, c1973]. Undated but with owner inscription from 1973 so likely 1970s. Black hardcover with gilt titling. 428pp covering all the major publications of Davis, who was referred to as “the John the Baptist of Modern Spiritualism”. Davis predated the majority of that key players in the spiritualism movement of the late 1880s and set the stage for many of their core tenets. This book covers communication with the deceased, theories on the afterlife, comments on the Anti-Christ and much more. Binding is tight, only minor shelfwear, and no noted writing apart from the aforementioned owner inscription. Overall, Very Good+ bordering on Near Fine condition.
