Black cloth covered loose-leaf note book cover tied with black shoelace. Name “Annie Oliphant” written inside front cover. Notes cover a variety of food and cooking related topics, including recipes and a hand drawn diagram of the digestive system. Very Good+ with minimal wear and legible, neat handwriting.

These notes document early twentieth-century instruction in Domestic Science at a time when home economics programs were expanding rapidly in schools and normal colleges throughout the United States.
