Publisher’s olive cloth, gilt lettered on spine with blind-stamped central ornament on upper board. Illustrated with four full-page color plates by Frederick C. Yohn, including frontispiece, as called for. Copyright page dated 1902, with publication noted October 1902. Cloth rubbed and toned, with wear at spine ends and corners; spine lettering still legible though softened. Hinges sound, binding firm. Pages lightly toned with scattered spots and occasional light soiling; illustrations clean and vivid. A solid, unrestored copy of London’s first novel. Good+.
