Illustrated by Yan Dargent on almost every page, of which 36 + the portrait frontispiece are full page plates. Half leather over marbled boards with hand marbled endpapers. Top edge gilt; foreedge and bottom edge deckled. Crack beginning to form in rear hinge but still holding beautifully, moderate wear to the leather spine as pictured, and lower corners rubbed. Overall, Very Good- and the earliest Dargent edition available on the market.
