"Wine, Women and Words" by Billy Rose [Simon and Schuster, 1948]. First Edition. Hardcover. Illustrated by Salvador Dali. Signed by Rose on the limitation page. This copy additional inscribed by Henry Miller on the front endpaper. Near Fine. Quarter gold cloth with white paper on the boards, soiled at the panels, rubbed at the bottom edges. Square and firmly bound with a sewn-in bookmark, clean internally. Miller has inscribed this copy for his friend and noted Miller collector Pierre Sicari, who was Miller's barber in Hollywood. In his inscription, Miller bluntly expresses his distate for Salvador Dali, calling him a "prick" who he hopes "may live to screw himself." Near Fine.
