Octavo. 471 pp. Original tan cloth stamped in black on the front cover with red-and-black spine labels. In the second state dust jacket (unclipped; $2.75) with photographer credit present on the rear panel. Jacket shows moderate wear including chipping at the spine ends, several short closed tears, and general rubbing and creasing; light toning to the spine and edges. Cloth clean and solid with light speckling typical of the cloth stock and mild toning to the page edges. A bright and attractive example of Hemingway’s classic Spanish Civil War novel in its correct early jacket. Near Fine in Very Good- jacket.
