Arthur Findlay was one of the most influential British Spiritualists of the 20th century and a leading advocate for the “scientific” investigation of psychic phenomena. In On the Edge of the Etheric, he argues for survival after death through mediumship, séance evidence, and psychical research, positioning Spiritualism as a rational and evidence-based philosophy. The book became one of the movement’s most widely circulated texts and helped shape modern Spiritualist thought in Britain and beyond.
