Half vellum binding over marbled boards with marbled endpapers and red top stain. Spine hand-painted with author, title, and an image of a laughing monk. Original paper wraps bound in. Light rubbing at base of spine plus a handful of very minor scuffs. Internally clean and tight, albeit lightly toned. Very Good++ with stellar shelf presence.
