Issued in the Beeton’s Boy’s Own Library series. 8.5" x 5.75", xiv + 766pp. Adapted translation from the Spanish by Charles Jarvis. Illustrated by Tony Johannot with nearly 700 illustrations. Publisher’s decorative green cloth pictorially stamped in black and gilt with elaborate spine decoration and cover device; all edges plain. Bookseller stamp on front endpaper; moderate foxing throughout the text; cloth bright with light wear to spine ends and a small ink mark at the head of the spine. Very Good-.
