Extremities quite rubbed and lower portion of spine discolored, as pictured. Binding also moderately soiled. Rear hinge cracked. Bookplate inside front cover and name written on FFEP. Textblock clean. Good+.
Synopsis: An inventor and his bold partner drive the iron mole into the earth and breach Pellucidar, a vast inner world of primeval beasts, savage tribes, and perpetual daylight. The newcomers are swept into tribal warfare and political intrigue as they try to survive, introduce surface technology, and carve out a place for themselves. Adventure and romance follow—David Innes becomes a leader and fights to rescue and win the hand of a captive princess while searching for a way home.
