Originally published in December 1825, this is an early edition of one of the most important French works on gastronomy. Quarter leather over marbled boards. Marbled endpapers. 493pp + 3 ads. Small tear at the edge of the half title, moderate foxing throughout, and the top of the spine starting to tear (as pictured). Binding solid and no loose pages. Very Good-.
