Montreal: Self-published, 1940. Album, 14.5” x 12.25”, 91 leaves (title + 85 leaves of samples + 5 blank). Each sample page contains 1-4 samples with average around 3 per. Black bonded leather covered boards bound with a single black cord. Pages lightly toned. Rear board with dampstain but no odors. All samples appear to be well mounted with nothing loose. Very Good.

This album clearly demonstrates Ms. Bishop’s passion for local flora and gives a thorough survey of plant life in the Montreal metro region in 1940. A one-of-a-kind (and very large) collection.
