"The Masculine Cross and Ancient Sex Worship" by Sha Rocco [1889]. Sha Rocco is a pseudonym of Abisha S. Hudson who, in turn, some claim to be itself a pseudonym of Hargrave Jennings. Given the similarity to other work by Jennings, it's entirely possible. Red cloth-covered boards with gilt cover design and (nicely covert) blank spine. Illustrated throughout. Dampstain on rear board, sticker residue on front, and some minor instances of foxing throughout. Front hinge feeling a little tender but intact. Overall, Good+/Very Good- and quite rare.
