Original publisher’s brown cloth, decoratively blind- and gilt-stamped to upper board and spine. Cloth rubbed at extremities with minor fraying at spine ends. Pencil writing inside both covers. A couple loose pages but complete. Good.

An attractive late-19th-century Altemus issue of Poe’s tales, collecting many of his most enduring works, including “The Murders in the Rue Morgue,” “The Fall of the House of Usher,” and “The Tell-Tale Heart.”
