Publisher’s original green cloth lettered in dark green with mounted pictorial onlay to front board. A later but still early and increasingly uncommon interwar printing of Montgomery’s classic novel, retaining the attractive pictorial cloth design associated with the early Page editions. Noticeable wear and mottling to binding with loss to portions of the pictorial onlay, rubbing to extremities, and some waviness and age-toning to text block. Rear hinge starting. Pencil writing inside both covers. Good.
