Publisher's cream coated cloth, lettered and illustrated in black. Thumb-index edition. Light soiling to the cloth with several stains to the rear cover and spine, light rubbing at the extremities, and mild toning to the spine. Thin cracks to the coating along joints but holding tight. Binding square and sound. Interior clean with light, even toning. Thumb-index tabs complete and intact. Very Good.

One of the most successful American cookbooks ever published, The Settlement Cook Book grew out of Milwaukee's settlement house movement and became a staple in Midwestern kitchens for generations.
