Charles Baudelaire (1821–1867) is one of the most important French poets of the nineteenth century, known for his influence on modern literature and symbolism. Les Fleurs du Mal, his landmark collection first published in 1857, challenged conventions with its exploration of beauty, decadence, and the darker sides of human experience. These editions capture the enduring power of his work and remain central to any study or collection of French poetry.
