Dust jacket worn with four chips at lower edge and a small hole to front panel, along with general toning and edge wear; presents cleanly overall. Chips out of lower edges of pages 49/50 and 75/76. Book Very Good; jacket Good+.

A late Alcott title issued the year of her death, comprising short fiction in the vein of her enduring domestic and moral tales. Copies in the original dust jacket are seldom encountered, particularly with the pictorial front panel intact, making this an appealing example despite the expected fragility and losses to the jacket.
