PANCOAST, S. "Blue and Red Light: Or Light and Its Rays as Medicine" [J.M Stoddart, 1877]'
"Blue and Red Light: Or Light and Its Rays as Medicine; Showing That Light is the Original and Sole Source of Life, As it is the Source of All the Physical and Vital Forces of Nature; and That Light is Nature's Own and Only Remedy for Disease; and Explaining How to Apply the Red and Blue Rays in Curing the Sick and Feeble; Together With a Chapter on Light in the Vegetable Kingdom" by S. Pancoast, M.D. [J.M Stoddart, 1877]. 312pp Kabbalah medicine book with hand-colored illustrations and one foldout. Binding states that the publisher is Worthington, not Stoddart, so likely closer to 1882 as Worthington tended to buy printer plates and publish them with no changes to the text*. FFEP is detached and present but the rest of the text is tight. There is some minor underlining and marginalia but the writer was kind enough to do it in light blue pencil that actually matches the text nicely. Overall, Very Good and incredibly rare.
*Note: Most of the "3rd edition" copies of Walt Whitman's "Leaves of Grass" from 1860-61 are actually 1880s Worthington reprints, for example. Caveat emptor!
