Retaining a contemporary handmade floral cloth wrapper backed with stiff paper and fitted with a printed paper title label. Light toning to text leaves; cloth lightly rubbed. Very Good.

Published in 1922 from Jane Austen's juvenile manuscripts, Love & Freindship collects stories and sketches written during her teenage years. The pieces differ markedly from Austen's mature novels, instead parodying the conventions of late eighteenth-century sentimental fiction.
