Octavo. 471 pp. Original tan cloth stamped in black on the front cover with red-and-black spine labels. In the first state dust jacket, price-clipped and with no photographer credit on the rear panel. Jacket shows moderate wear including chipping at the head of the spine, a larger loss at the upper spine panel extending slightly onto the front panel, and several closed tears with creasing. Cloth clean and sound with light speckling typical of the cloth stock and mild toning to the page edges. A solid, presentable first edition in its correct early jacket. Near Fine in Good+ jacket.
