A practical field manual for the uniformed commanderies of the Masonic Knights Templar, covering sword drill, bugle signals, competitive camp drills, military correspondence, funeral and burial services, religious observances, banner consecrations, and Grand Encampment ceremonials. Published by Pettibone, one of the major American manufacturers of Masonic regalia, ceremonial swords, and lodge supplies, the volume functioned both as a ritual handbook and as the operational standard for late nineteenth- and early twentieth-century commandery drill and public pageantry.
