White calf with hand-painted cover titling/decoration, extensive gilt work, and red spine labels. All edges gilt and endpapers patterned. 328 + 310pp. Each volume bears the bookplate of Almeric Hugh Paget, 1st Baron Queenborough. Bindings secure and textblocks clean. Very light shelfwear. Vol 2 has a light brown stain at upper corner of rear board and a scratch on front board. The painting on Vol 1 has chipped a bit. Overall, Very Good.
