Undated but between 1878, when the publisher was founded, and 1891, by when they had established an Australian office that is not mentioned here. With 100 illustrations by Gustave Dore. Unpaginated. 4to, 10 x 12". Cover and spine gilt moderately faded, head/tail of spine worn, edges rubbed, and corners bumped. Gift inscription on FFEP. Hinges intact and no loose pages but binding beginning to have some back and forth play. Title and frontis foxed but textblock clean. All plates accounted for. No writing or underlining. Good+.
