Illustrated with numerous in-text wood engravings throughout. Moderate wear to extremities, with rubbing and fraying at spine ends and corners; a few small areas of surface rubbing to the boards, with gilt still bright and attractive overall. Spine cloth worn at head with minor loss. Binding remains sound with hinges just starting. Internally clean with light, even toning and occasional minor handling marks; no ownership markings noted.
