Illustrated throughout by Nora S. Unwin, this edition presents Barrie's complete text rather than an abridgment or retelling. Unwin's energetic pen-and-ink drawings capture both the whimsical and darker elements of Neverland, from Nana keeping watch at the nursery window to Peter's adventures among pirates, fairies, and the Lost Boys.
