Publisher’s decorative red cloth, elaborately gilt with floral and scrolling design to the front board and spine; all edges gilt; patterned endpapers designed by A. A. Turbayne. Wear to extremities with rubbing to corners and spine ends; spine gilt dulled and rubbed with some loss of definition; boards show light general handling and minor soiling, with gilt still bright overall on the front cover. Hinges slightly tender but holding; text block sound. Contents clean with occasional light handling marks; no ownership markings noted. Very Good-.
