"McElligot's Pool" by Dr. Seuss [Random House, 1947]. First edition, second printing with closed mouth fish on cover, 3 line copyright, and a jacket price of $2.50. Jacket quite worn along edges with creasing and a half inch tear. Book proper is very clean and cloth is just has minor crushing at spine ends and bumped corners. Binding tight and textblock clean. One of the six Seuss books removed from publication in 2021 due to racially-insensitive content (likely the "Eskimo fish" reference but never publicly explained). Very Good in Good jacket.
